Our take: This flip-to-side optic mount overlays your scope with a 30mm magnifier optic that can be employed at the push of a button. When activated, this mount places the magnifier centerline at 1.5" above the receiver and aligned with your regular rifle optic, providing an enhanced view of your target. When you no longer require magnification, simply press the button and flip the magnifier to the side. The magnifier mount locks tight into both the active and inactive positions, so it's there when you need it and out of the way when you don't. The QD RIS mount attaches to virtually all Picatinny and Weaver type rails and locks down tight for a secure and reliable hold. The tough anodized aluminum body makes this mount durable and able to take any amount of punishment and still get the job done.
